ODYSSEY DANCE THEATRE , a professional full-time contemporary dance company that was founded by Artistic Director Mr. Danny Tan, MFA (2004 Young Artist Award for Dance) , has more than 9 years of credible track records in professional dance-making and arts/dance education for schools.
Since 2000, ODT’s short-term and long-term arts/education programmes were participated by more than 1,500 pupils annually. These include Artiste-In-School Programme, Arts Excursions, Dance Workshops, Master Classes and dance niche programmes.
In the last 9 years, our arts/dance education programmes were actively participated by pupils from more than 55 schools and 20 welfare organizations.

- DANCE ELECTIVE
To date, 1270 primary students and 900 secondary students are involved in our Dance Elective Programmes for Schools in 2005. A new cohort of 70 primary students also attended the programme in 2006.
- DANCE CAMP
A total of 190 students from 8 schools attended the dance camps in 2001 & 2002 respectively
- ARTS EXCURSIONS – Professional Performances by ODT
A total of 8440 students attended ODT’s performances from 2000 to 2008
- PRODUCTION & ARTS MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS FOR TEACHERS
A total of 30 teachers attended the workshops in 2000
- ARTS & DANCE WORKSHOPS
A total of 60 pupils attended the inaugural season in October 2003, held jointly with Singapore Art Museum and in conjunction with Xposition ‘O’ Contemporary Dance Fiesta 2003

- CONTEMPORARY DANCE
A total of 60 pupils attended our 15-week Contemporary Dance Workshops in 2001 & 2002
To date, 60 pupils attended our 4-week Contemporary Dance Workshops in 2005 and
100 pupils attended our ongoing Contemporary Dance Workshops/Training in 2007.
- MODERN JAZZ & HIP-HOP
A total of 760 pupils participated in our 4-week Modern Jazz & Hip-hop Workshops in 2002 & 2003
- Intensive Dance Programme
60 students participated this programme since 2005

MASTER CLASSES (LOCAL & INTERNATIONAL)
To date, more than 500 dance students participated in our 14 Master Classes that were held from 2001 to 2007.
YOUNG ARTISTS PROJECT (COMMUNITY CLASSES)
To date, more than 400 people have participated in our Young Artists Project with classes in Contemporary Dance, Ballet, Chinese Dance, Modern Jazz and Hip-Hop since 2001.
